Dana Brimmer is a highly experienced attorney focusing her practice in family law. She is known for her dedication to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal issues, often fraught with emotion. Her professional journey began in Spokane, where she started as a volunteer victim/witness advocate, laying the groundwork for her career focused on serving the local community.



Dana completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University with a major in Biology and a focus on Bioethics. During her time there, she excelled academically, becoming a professional tutor for the Bureau of Study Counsel and earning a language citation in Spanish, which allows her to assist Spanish-speaking clients effectively.

Dana earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law. Throughout her law school years, she was actively involved, serving as a representative for the Law Student Association Board each year and contributing as an editor to multiple Law Student Journals. Her commitment to public interest law led to her certification in Public Interest Law.

Her legal career is diverse, including significant experience as a court-appointed contract attorney with the Washington State Public Defender’s Office. In this role, she specialized in civil litigation and provided trauma-informed, hope-centered representation to families navigating the dependency process in Washington.
