Connie Powell is a well-tenured attorney focusing her expertise on family law and dependency cases. With over 20 years of experience as a family law attorney, she is known for her dedication to guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging legal matters with compassion and expertise.

Before becoming an attorney, Connie worked as a paralegal for over 17 years, handling complex family law, criminal, and personal injury cases. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude, after completing her undergraduate degree at Gonzaga University with honors.

Connie began her legal career at Eymann, Allison, Fennessey, Hunter & Jones, where she played a key role as an attorney of record in the Hanford Nuclear Reservation Litigation. She worked alongside world-renowned toxic tort experts, deposed defendant experts across the country, and successfully argued to limit expert testimony under the Daubert standard.

In 2005, Connie opened her own law firm, dedicating her practice to family law, dependency, personal injury, and criminal defense. She has extensive experience serving as a guardian ad litem under RCW Title 26, advocating for the best interests of children in family law cases. Additionally, she has a strong focus on defending parents in child protective services cases and holds a contract with the Office of Public Defense.

Now at Johnson Law Firm, Connie brings her vast experience and unwavering commitment to client advocacy. She is passionate about helping families navigate complex legal issues and ensuring they receive the strong representation they deserve.

When she’s not in the office or the courtroom, Connie enjoys spending time with her husband, their nine grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She is an avid supporter of youth athletics and cherishes the time she gets to spend cheering them on.
